Family Owned Business Awards 2014

Congratulations to all the winners of the fourth annual Family Owned Business Awards, presented by Nevada Business Magazine and sponsored by Nevada State Bank.

Several hundred nominations were received, detailing the accomplishments and the history of family owned businesses in Nevada.  Judges then faced the difficult task of narrowing the entries down to 60 finalists in 10 different categories and choosing a winner from northern Nevada and a winner from southern Nevada in each category.  Southern Nevada finalists and winners were honored at a luncheon in Las Vegas on May 13.  On May 15, Northern Nevada finalists and winners celebrated at a luncheon in Reno.

Here at Nevada State Bank, we’ve been serving family owned businesses for more than 50 years, and we understand the challenges they face and the opportunities they provide — not only for their owners, but for their employees, their communities and the state.  This makes us especially proud to sponsor the Family Owned Business Awards and to extend our hearty congratulations to all the winners:
